Coring Magazine’s team members attended the 4th Mining & Exploration Forum – Minex Europe 2019. The forum, which is among the most prestigious mining events in the region, was held on 25 – 27 June in Sofia, Bulgaria. The theme of the event was ‘The Future of Sustainable Mining in the Balkans and Beyond’.
International and local delegates enjoyed technical sessions, mining cases sessions and mine visits. During the first and the second day industry professionals delivered engaging presentations, dedicated to mining and metals, sustainability, good practices, brownfield exploration, mine tailings, directional drilling, and much more. During the third day, delegates had the chance to visit Ellatzite-Med AD – one of the largest copper mining companies in Bulgaria, and Assarel-Medet JSC Mining and Processing Complex.
Attending the event gave us an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, meet industry specialists, and exchange information.
