Canadian manufacturer and distributor of downhole consumables Di-Corp have established a representative and a new office in Accra, Ghana. This is the first step of the company’s plan towards a permanent presence on the West African market.
‘As mineral exploration increases across the region, mine operators and drilling companies are looking for every opportunity to improve the efficiency and productivity of their core drilling operations,’ commented Di-Corp’s West Africa Sales Manager, Robert LaFontaine. ‘As companies look to replace mineral production with new sources of key metals, we’re here to help address the growing demand for drilling supplies’.
LaFontaine will be backed by an experienced remote team featuring technical salespeople, drilling experts, engineers, and drilling fluids program specialists. Their goal is to support existing and new customers in West Africa by providing an in-region contact that can coordinate the reliable delivery of high-quality drill rods, diamond tooling, core retrieval equipment, and drilling fluids – supplies that are integral to West Africa’s mining industry.
