Geodrill has donated USD 25 000 to the Achimota School in Ghana at a ceremony on June 14. The money will be used towards the equipping and use of the new state-of-the-art laboratory of the school.
The donation cheque was presented by Geodrill CEO David Harper. ‘Geodrill is committed to being a socially responsible company that actively promotes social causes such as the education of Ghanaian youth. The support for the laboratory complex is yet another purposeful outcomes-based Geodrill ESG initiative,’ Harper said.
Harper also emphasized the importance of education to the students, hoping that their education, particularly in science, would set them on the path to successful careers and will contribute meaningfully to the development of Ghana.
