Navarre Minerals drilling programs continue during COVID-19 restrictions

August, 2020

Navarre Minerals (ASX: NML), an Australian-based resources company, announced that, despite the restrictions of COVID-19 lockdown, drilling will continue on a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week program in the Resolution Lode, within the Stawell Corridor gold project in Victoria, Australia.

The company continues to take the steps [necessary] to protect the wellbeing of those who work with us and for us,’ said Navarre’s managing director Geoff McDermott

The Stawell Corridor is an extension of a corridor of rocks that host the historical Stawell (5 million ounce/ 141 747.62 kg) and Ararat (1 Moz) goldfields, where there is an ongoing 9000 m (29 527.56 ft) core drilling project, which continues scoping the depth potential of the 1.6 km (1 mi) long Resolution Lode. Navarre is also planning to have four drilling rigs in operation by October and geophysics surveys are set to begin at the recently acquired Jubilee gold project in south-eastern Victoria ahead of a drilling program scheduled for the December quarter.
