Hy-Tech Drilling a leading diamond drilling partner, announced that Kyle Rhoderick has been appointed as the company’s new CEO, effective November 1, 2024. Mr Rhoderick is succeeding Brian Butterworth, who has successfully led the company as President for the past 10 years.
This new leadership structure will align with the increasing challenges of Hy-Tech Drilling’s ongoing growth and operational complexity. Brian Butterworth will continue to support the company during the transition and will remain involved in an advisory capacity.

Kyle Rhoderick is a seasoned geologist with extensive leadership experience, having led a global diamond drilling company for 14 years, where he gained an intimate understanding of the mineral exploration industry. With 17 years of operational experience in the exploration and mining segments of the industry, Rhoderick possesses comprehensive knowledge of the entire value chain of the business.
Recognized for his inspired communication skills, he excels at building trusting relationships with all stakeholders. Moreover, his strong track record in the US market aligns perfectly with Hy-Tech Drilling’s strategic objectives, positioning him to effectively lead the group into its next chapter.
